Descendants of Andrzej Marszalkiewicz

Andrzej MARSZALKIEWICZ was born about 1765, probably in Budziszewo, Skoki Catholic Parish, Poznan, Poland. He died 27 April 1831 in Potrzanowo, near there. He married Maryana SCHMIDT, who was born about 1778 and who died 10 May 1844 in Budziszewo. The name is currently Budziszewko. The Germans called it Buschdorf.

Thomas MARSZALKIEWICZ was born about 1815 in Budziszewo. He married Marya Januszewska 23 November 1835 in Budziszewo. She was born about 1812.

D. Andzrej MARSZALKIEWICZ, also known as Andrew MARSHALL, was born 3 November 1842 in Budziszewo. He married Maryana IGNASIAK, dau of Nicholas IGNASIAK and Rosalie (--?--), ca 1868. He married Maria Sieracka ca 1892. He and his family and brother Jan emigrated and arrived in New York City on 17 May 1872. He filed a Declaration to become a citizen of the United States on 29 July 1872 in Duluth, St. Louis County, Minnesota. He died on 6 October 1902 in Canosia Township, St. Louis County, Minnesota and was buried in Polish Cemetery, Duluth.

E.. Anna MARSZALKIEWICZ. She was born 25 June 1845 in Budziszewo. She married Jan MICHOR, 2 November 1869 in Poland. She died 8 November 1903 in Duluth and is buried in Polish Cemetery. Michor was born about 1836 to Jan MICHOR and Anna DAHLKE. He died 26 March 1907 in Duluth and is buried in Polish Cemetery.

F. Jan MARSZALKIEWICZ also known as John MARSHALL Sr. He was born 16 May 1847 in Budziszewo. He served in the Prussian Army in the Franco-Prussian War in 1870-1871. He came to Duluth in 1872 with his brother, Andrzej. He married Kurdula LUDWIKOWSKA, daughter of Kazmierz LUDWIKOWSKI, circa 1875 in Duluth. He died 18 March 1907 in Duluth and is buried in Polish Cemetery. Kurdula, also known as Cordelia, was born in May 1859 in Poland. She emigrated about 1866 and lived for a time in Chicago before coming to Duluth after the Chicago Fire in 1871. After the death of her husband, John, she married Martin (Mlynarek) MILLER about 1908. She died 8 November 1931 in Duluth and as buried in Polish Cemetery.
